EMZINI TOURS AND LUKHANYISO SAFE HOUSE SUPPORT 13 CHILDREN THROUGH EDUCATION MONTHLY WITH THE HELP OF OUR WONDERFUL DONORS

Our goal is to educate our children to a level where they can move on to choose a career, train, receive a diploma, find employment and become independent.
Most of the children are educated now in our own Lighthouse Home School. In Knysna town, where we rent premises.

We employ a private, full time, highly qualified teacher, who runs our school and organises everything for each child.
The school is registered with the Department of Education in the Western Cape, and inspectors regularly come to the school. A strict curriculum has to be followed and reports submitted weekly for each child.

Sport and educational outings are part of the curriculum and these are all organised by Annie, our teacher.

It is an enormous responsibility bringing up 13 children and educating them.

At our LIGHTHOUSE HOME SCHOOL we have wifi and the children are able to do some work on tablets and laptops, and of course
their excellent school books.

We do sport privately – the older children go cycling and the younger ones do some hip hop dancing daily. They also go to art, soccer,
netball and tag rugby after school.
